   I just sold my passport x50, I'm in the market for a new radar detector. I got my eyes set on the Beltronics STI Driver or the Passport 9500i. I need help deciding which one to get, which is the best detector out of the two?

   The STi Driver and the 9500i perform very similarly, so I wouldn't decide based on performance. The great thing about the STi Driver is that it can't be detected by the police in situations where it may be illegal. If radar detectors are legal where you live, the 9500i is probably the best choice for you due to an integrated GPS system. This allows you to mark out false alert locations and mark in places like red light cameras. It will also display your speed if put in the correct mode.

   I read that the Escort Passport 9500 also cannot be detected by the police,is this correct?
