The XTR-500 also features Whistler's new attention grabbing feature, the dual LED alert periscope. Two blue LED's sit atop the XTR-500 and flash when you receive an alert, helping to grab your attention.
The Whistler XTR-500 also features 3 city modes, which allows you to adjust your tolerance false alerts. An Alert Priority feature makes sure the most important alert is displayed if multiple alerts are detected. Other features include a battery saver, and 3 adjustable levels of brightness.
