The 75-785 has 4 watts of transmit power, the maximum allowed for Citizen's Band, and covers all 40 CB channels. It features a condenser microphone, Automatic Gain Control, automatic modulation control, a low distortion IC audio circuit and ceramic filter for greater selectivity and reduced interference from adjacent channels.
The Midland 75-785 also features an LED channel display, electronic up and down channel controls, a removable antenna, Hi/Lo power settings, low battery indicator and an external jack for headsets. It operates on DC vehicle power or nine (9) AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries (batteries not included). All together, these features make the 75-785 a great companion when out and about.
