The Passport 8500ci is designed by Escort to be the quickest and easiest to install integrated radar detector system made. The system has three components: The antenna/receiver, the interface, and the display/controller. In addition to easy installation, the 8500ci offers great performance. The 8500ci detects all X, K and Superwide Ka bands and all types of laser. The Passport 8500ci has voice alerts, a Signal Strength Meter, AutoMute, and three sensitivity levels. Since the display can be mounted almost anywhere, it is easily concealed. If you have been looking for an integrated radar detector to replace the device sitting in plain view on your windshield, then the 8500ci may be the one.
Although installation of the 8500ci is easy, you may still prefer a professional installation. For your convenience, we are pleased to offer InstallCard Professional Concealed Radar Detector Installation as an additional option.

Speaker needs to be positioned in front of you,to hear properly. In forks or in the fairing if bike has fairing.
