The Cobra SPX 5500 Radar Detector is refined style and high performance in an ultra compact package. It uses military grade components to deliver powerful CPU technology with the capability to cover the entire police radar band spectrum in less than 240 milliseconds.
The SPX 5500 detects all police radar and laser currently in use and uses Cobra's LaserEye® technology with 360 degree coverage for full laser detection. The 5500 is also equipped with VG-2 Alert® to detect VG-2 surveillance and is immune to VG-2 radar detector-detectors.
The SPX5500 allows you to select from city and highway modes to reduce false alerts. It also features Safety Alert®, Stay Set Electronic Memory, Voice Alert™ auto mute, Digital Signal Strength Meter, and a Digiview™ Data Display with four levels of brightness. Loaded with features and light on price, the Cobra SPX 5500 is a radar and laser detector that delivers supercharged performance on a budget.
The Cobra SPX 5500 includes a windshield mount, coiled power cord, owners manual and a one year manufacturer warranty.
