The XLT MCSB003W is a braided radar detector power cord designed for use with rearview mirror mounting brackets. In vehicles that have powered rearview mirrors, tapping into the mirror for a power source can provide a very clean and effective installation. An inline fuse is embedded in the cable for safety. This mirror power cord is 12 inches (.3 meters) long and includes two zip ties (black) for installation flexibility. 90 day warranty.

Perfect for use with any rearview mirror radar detector mounts, including BlendMount and RadarMount brand products.

Note: This product basic electronic knowledge for installation. It is recommended that you use a multimeter (or similar device) to identify power and ground wires in your mirror wiring. Once identified, connect the red (power) and black (ground) wires of the power cord to these mirror wires by pressing the metal tips into the wiring harness. Professional installation is recommended.

The MCSB003W is designed for Uniden and Whistler radar detectors.

Works with all Whistler radar detectors from the 1400 series and higher, including current models. Also works with models prior to the 1400 series with a plug size of 1.3mm.

Works with all Uniden radar detectors that use a round plug. Uniden models using a RJ11 (telephone style) should purchase model MCSB003BE.
