The Passport Max 3 has a powerful receiver equipped with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology for faster scans and more advanced warning against "instant on" radar threats. It also has the ability to separate radar signals from RF interference and extraneous signals and "noise" for even accuracy.

The Passport Max 3 has a multi-color graphic OLED display with brilliant graphics so you can quickly and easily identify threats. The display colors are also user-selectable, so you can choose the color that best matches the look and ambiance of your vehicle's interior.

The Escort Max 3 is pre-loaded with thousands of red light and fixed position speed camera locations, thanks to its built-in Defender® database. When coupled with a smartphone via Bluetooth and the Escort Live! app, the Max 3 can access Escort's real-time ticket-protection network online and warn you of threats reported by other drivers in the area in, well, real time you can even mark your own hot spots of red light cameras, speed cameras and other activity using Escort's exclusive Mark Location feature!

The Max 3 also has Cruise Alert, Overspeed Alert, AutoMute, SmartMute, Autolearn, Variable Speed Sensitivity, tone alerts, GPS TruLock filter. It also has the ability to control shifters when optional ZR5 or SW5 laser shifters are connected.
