Better than the original
The bracket itself looks to be the same as the original but the suction cups are larger and stronger. Plus you get an extra pair of them.

Have a few cars and trade off between the ones with the windshield mount. This make it easy to have a few of the mounting brackets around and just leave them in the cars.
