OK, fine, didn't use
Didn't need or use it. The unit came with a perfectly good mount that was quit adequate. Would you like yours back? I'll give you a good deal. It's never been used.

So far so good has been a great product with NO problems as of yet!
Good Replacement for OEM Cups
They are a bit bigger than the stock suction cups but work much better and never fall off.
Better than original
This has larger and btter suction cups than the original passport 8500 i bought in 2002. I highly recommend these as replacements or upgrades.
Poor fit
Horizontal portion is apparently not the right length for my passport on my windshield, as it leaves the detector flopping around instead of letting it brace against the glass like my escort brand mount did.
