Eliminate coiled cigarette lighter cords with the MirrorTap Power Cord! It taps into the existing wire harness on the rear of your auto-dimming rear view mirror.
Installs quickly and easily without cutting or splicing wires. Simply insert the two prongs of the cord for +12 Volt Ignition power and ground. Voila! No more bulky wires. The MirrorTap is made of 24 gauge wire with a black braided flexible sleeve and a 2 Amp inline fuse for peace of mind. Looks factory installed!
The MirrorTap works with Escort, Beltronics, and Valentine One Radar Detectors.

Blendmount rear view mirror mount
Installation only took about 10 min. Works perfectly with my Valentine One & remote display module. No more radar detectors in my lap!!
Great product providing a clean OEM look
The combination of having my radar detector power cord hidden in the molding of my new Mustang, coupled with the rear mirror mount we purchased from you, enables us to have a factory installed look that is very clean and professional looking -MUCH better than the suction cups. Additionally, the fit and finish of the bracket is truly exceptional. Thank you for your product, it surpassed all of my expectations, I simply could not be happier.
This is a awesome product.
This product is simple to install,it's built very durable and looks like part of the mirror.I would advise anyone with a radar detector to buy one of these.The service was excellent and i received it in just five days.
Instructions lacking
Intructions are vague at best. Connection is sub-standard and confusing. I have more than adequate electrical wiring experince and find the connection unsatisfactory. If youy are able to make the connection, the system works perfectly, the mount works great and is awesome. Love not having cords hanginging.
