The Whistler XTR-145 radar detector features a bright, easy to read icon display. The XTR-140 features 3 city modes, which allows you to adjust your tolerance false alerts.
The XTR-145 also features Whistler's new attention grabbing feature, the dual LED alert periscope. Two blue LED's sit atop the XTR-145 and flash when you receive an alert, helping to grab your attention.
The Whistler 145 includes an Alert Priority feature, which makes sure the most important alert is displayed if multiple alerts are detected. A battery saver option turns off your detector automatically if you forget. It also features quiet/auto audio modes, tone alerts, alert priority (always displays the most important alert when multiple sources are detected), and VG-2 detection.
