The Uniden R7 is an extreme long range radar and laser detector with advanced filtering and GPS for red light and speed camera alerts. It is equipped with a 50% faster processor and features an OLED display with directional arrows. It detects X, K, and KA radar with advanced K and Ka band filters to help eliminate false alerts. It is also equipped with Eagle Eye for 360° laser detection. Individual bands can be turned on or off to ignore specific frequencies. It also has K and Ka POP mode to detect brief transmissions too fast for some detectors to catch.

The R7 has city, highway and advanced modes to adjust sensitivity levels as needed. Advanced Mode allows you to adjust sensitivity levels for each band in 10% increments, for even more precise control. It has a large, diagonal OLED display with an ultra-bright view screen, a choice of screen text colors and adjustable dim levels. The R7 can display radar band frequency, speed, signal strength, vehicle battery voltage, compass direction, and altitude. It can display multiple threats at the same time. The R7 also displays directional arrows, so you know where a threat is coming from.

The R7 features voice alerts with an option to mute at the press of a button. Other features include alarm priority, Quiet Ride, User Mark, up to 2,000 GPS lockouts, speed warning system, battery voltage warning, traffic sensor filter (TSF), self test and factory reset. The database and firmware are upgradeable.

The Uniden R7 comes with a single suction cup mount, two suction cup windshield mounting bracket, 12-volt DC power cord with mute button, LED and built-in USB port, USB cable, hook and loop mounting tape, a zippered travel case, owner's manual and a one year manufacturer warranty.
