It Works
Photo Blur. I didn't buy this for myself, but actually, for my 91 year old mother-in-law. She doesn't even know it's on her car. "Mom" has slowed down in recent years and has a little trouble remembering things recently. But when she's behind the wheel of her 94 Buick Regal.....look out. No slowing her down. Our problem was EZPass. Not mine, Mom's, or lack thereof. She was getting several tickets a month by flying though the EZPass lanes. And I was the one paying the fines. Mom stated, "Why are all those people always waiting in line. The far left lanes are never backed up." My explanation of the EZPass system fell on deaf ears, literary. A friend recommended trying Photo Blur. I did. Installing the lens over Mom's license plate has now paid for itself 50 times over as I have not had to pay an EZPass violation since. It works!

Did not work!!! I got a $200.00 photo radar ticket with this blur cover on my license plate. It showed the license number very clearly with no distortion!!
Junk
This is just a cheap clear plastic plate cover with magnifying plastic strip stuck on with double sided tape. Ugly and very obvious to anyone following you. Cops will notice this from 100+ feet away.

It might work
I think another poster on here summed it up - it's just a clear plate cover with a sheet magnifier TAPED to it. Depending how you mount it, it's VERY obvious and the tape always shows. I could make the same thing a LOT cheaper. We'll see if it helps or if I get pulled over by a cop that notices it and gives me a citation for plate obstruction.
Minor Complaint
Never received a photo-based ticket while using this plate cover; though, I don't know whether I ever should have gotten one. While it might be straightforward to build your own, my guess is that you'll have more time, effort, and maybe even money into it by the time you're done. Where are you going to get the sheet magnifier for example? Finally, be sure to replace the cover occasionaly as it will begin to yellow over time.

I've owned this product and been using it for about a month now. I have it installed over my rear license plate. I haven't gone through any red lights at an intersection with cameras yet, so I can't comment on it's effectivness. However, when doing a 360 degree walk-a-roud of my vechile from different distances, it seems work as advertised. As for unwanted attnetion, I've had police driving directly behind me as well as behind me in an adjacent lane, and haven't had any problems. Just recently, I was pulled over by an officer for something completely unrelated, and the officer never even mentioned or commented on my use of this product.
Excellent Product
Last year I received ten tickets from red light cameras. After installation of your product (plus a small amount of moisturizing lotion) there have been NO tickets. I would buy again and I have recommended to friends.
