The Beltronics Vector 995 offers truly exceptional performance for the serious driver. This is a very high performance model, and is the top of the line detector in Bel's Vector line.
The Bel Vector 995 is loaded with features, such as the new Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology to minimize false alarms, a lightning fast microprocessor, allowing it to detect and process signals faster, and the ability to detect the new POP radar. Advanced features include a tech display, which displays the actual frequency that was detected.
This model is also equipped with an alpha numeric display, which displays a graphical signal strength indicator and text messages. This model is also perfect for European customers, as it detects the Ku band which is used in some European countries!

Works Good
all in all works good, but it doesn't pick up pulse radar like it claims. i got popped doing 44 in a 20 zone because of this. a few too many false alerts as well. but it's saved me several thousands of dollars in tickets all in all.
Saves me money almost every day.
Actually had to repaint the housing to a little not so shiny finish for a more hidden approach. It's considered a serious crime to stop the goverment from earning money from us normal cardrivers here in Sweden. I'm very happy for my Beltronics Vector 995.
Good Radar for the Money
Its saved me multiple times going down the highway. Goes off often around automatic opening doors infront of stores but that just means its doing its job.
power on has too many loud beeps
power on start-up is a prolonged series of loud beeps that cannot be volume controlled.Passengers find it disturbing.
