The Whistler XTR-560 responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, and provides 360 degree detection of all types of laser guns laser. The Whistler 560 is immune to the VG-2 detector, and provides alerts when VG-2 is in use. The alpha-numeric display allows for full support of SWS alerts, including detailed information messages.
The Whistler XTR-560 is the ultimate customizable detector! The XTR-560 will allow you to program the text that is shown on the display during an alert. It will also allow you to record a custom audio message that is played during an alert!
The Whistler XTR-560 is designed to allow for interchangeable "trim rings" on the top of the detector. This allows you to customize the look of your detector. The XTR-560 includes 3 trim rings: metallic blue, black, and pink.

The Whistler XTR-560 is compatible with Whistler's optional Intelli-Cord Power Cable. The Intelli-Cord provides a programmable button on the base of the power cord to which you can assign your choice of two features. You can have the IntelliCord button control any two of the following: Power On/Off, City Modes, Dim/Dark, and Quiet/Auto Quiet. A short button press activates the first feature, a long press activates the second!
