The Whistler XTR-520 radar detector is designed for use in vehicles with large dashes or steep windshiends, where the detector is hard to reach. The XTR-520 is perfect for this situation because it is equipped with a remote control! By using the remote control, which can attach to your keychain, your detector is always within reach! The XTR-520's feature set includes: voice alerts, an alpha-numeric text display, POP mode radar detection, 3 city modes, selectable bands and more.
The Whistler XTR-520 responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, and provides 360 degree detection of all types of laser guns laser. The Whistler 520 is immune to the VG-2 detector, and provides alerts when VG-2 is in use. The alpha-numeric display allows for full support of SWS alerts, including detailed information messages.
The Whistler XTR-520 includes a remote control - perfect for vehicles with a large dash or a steep windshield. The remote control keeps your detector within reach, even when you can't reach it! The remote fits on a keychain, and includes the following buttons: power, mute, city, dim, and volume.
