The Whistler DE-1776 radar detector is a high performance detector at a great price. This model, with it's sleek, black design and intense, blue text display will look great in any vehicle. The DE-1776 will detect the new POP mode radar. This model also povides a "Dual Alert Display" feature. With this feature enabled, bright blue LED's on each side of the display will flash when an alert is detected, in addition to the text display message. These added LED's could ensure that you don't miss an alert!
The DE-1776 is also compatible with Whistler's new Intelli-Cord power cord.
The Whistler DE-1776 responds to all types of radar currently in use by police, and provides 360 degree detection of all types of laser guns laser. The Whistler DE-1776 is immune to the VG-2 detector, and provides alerts when VG-2 is in use. The alpha-numeric display allows for full support of SWS alerts, including detailed information messages.
