The Laser Veil package contains everything that you need to get going.
The Photo Blur license plate frame is too small to fit over the standard-size NC license plate. So, I peeled off the cellophane tape (!), removed the inner textured distorting "lens" and, with my own new double-sided Scotch tape, applied it to the inside of my current clear plate cover. The distortion appears to be adequate when viewed from upper and side angles, while the plate numbers are clearly read from directly behind the car at driver's eye level. We'll see if this prevents the accidental ticket or toll bill from those government cameras. As to the Veil G-5 product, I spent a great deal of time and care cleaning, then taping off the headlights on my 350Z in preparation for application. I'd rather have removed the lights for this project, but one must drop the entire bumper cover on the Z to remove the headlamp assemblies, so ... Following the instructions on the container, I attempted to apply the product using the enclosed foam "brush," but what a mess! There was no way I could paint it on evenly, and the product dried too fast to go back and smooth or blend it with successive strokes. I'm not a professional body guy or painter, though I consider myself fairly skilled with my hands in fine detailed work. But hey, this is supposed to be consumer-friendly for most driving enthusiasts, right? I was not successfully able to apply the Stealth G-5 after two tries. I'm considering spraying it on, but the logistics (above-mentioned headlight removal challenges, plus the fact that I do not have access to an air brush set-up) are significant. Also, I called the merchant from whom I purchased these two products, but got no help - whoever answered the phone had never used the product - and there seems to be no way to contact the manufacturer for technical support. Because I opened the can, I'm now out the $____. Live and learn, huh?
