This accessory offers two very useful features, making it the ultimate in convenience. First of all it allows you to hard wire your high end Bel radar detector directly into your car, eliminating the need for a cigarette lighter plug.
Secondly, it offers the very popular SmartPlug module. This module can be mounted anywhere inside your car and provides a power-on indicator, an alert lamp that warns you of radar and laser, and a convenient mute button! It's the perfect addition for any car when reaching the detector's mute button on the windshield is a stretch. Also, for discreet night driving, put your radar detector in the dark mode, and use the SmartPlug for visual alerts. Other drivers won't know you have a detector.
