Laser Jammers
Laser jammers, also known as laser shifters, are devices that actually block a police laser gun from
getting your speed. It is common for a laser jammer to "jam" a laser gun to a distance of around 200
feet, which typically provides plenty of time for a driver to adjust their speed, although it is not
uncommon to jam at closer distances or all the way to the gun (JTG). Laser jammers include transceivers
that must be mounted on the front of your vehicle. Some jammers include rear transceivers, although
encountering a rear laser hit is rare.
Our recommended laser jammers are listed below.

Blinder has been making top quality laser jammers for years and are true pioneers in this industry. The
M27 works well against all laser guns in use by police and is designed for an extremely discrete install.
The Blinder M27 and M47 jammers are the industry's first software upgradeable jammers, meaning you won't
have to buy new hardware when new laser guns are available! The M27 includes two transceivers and is
perfect for most vehicles. Drivers with larger vehicles or who prefer coverage for both the front and
rear will need the
M47, which includes four
transceivers. Also, be sure to check out the
Cheetah Wirless Install Kit,
which simplifies the installation!

The Cincinnati Microwave ZR4 was designed and is distributed by Beltronics and Escort. It is a nice jammer
package, including two front transceivers and one rear transceiver that mounts perfectly over your rear
license plate. A nice control panel comes standard, but if you are already using a recent Beltronics or
Escort radar detector you won't need it! The ZR4 is designed to integrate directly with compatible radar
detectors, eliminating the need for multiple displays. While the jamming ability of the ZR4 doesn't quite
match up to the Blinder, the convenience of radar detector integration may make this a jammer to consider.
