Anti-Photo License Plate Covers
Anti-photo license plate covers work by making your license plate unreadable at angles typical
of red light and speed cameras. These devices work, but they are not 100% and there are
trade-offs in selecting a product. The most effective products are typically the most noticeable
by the naked eye, which can lead to a ticket if you're in an area where these types of plate
covers are not legal.

The Photo Blur is our recommended anti-photo license plate cover. It is a bubble style cover, so
no license plate frame is required. It is also the least noticeable of our 3 popular plate covers,
but still works rather well according to our test (link above). Unfortunately, this plate cover is
only available for US and Canadian sized license plates.

The Super Protector is designed to distort a portion of the plate number when viewed at any angle while
keeping the number clear when viewed directly from behind. The Super Protector is a flat cover and must
be used with a license plate frame for optimal results. Motorcycle and custom sizes for international use
are available.

The TollFree protector was designed to be the most effective plate cover working at even very extreme angles,
such as those commonly used by toll booth cameras. While the TollFree protector works well, it is fairly
obvious that something is obscuring your plate numbers even directly from behind. Available in standard,
motorcycle, and custom sizes for international use.
