I own a Cobra xrs 9955. I'd like to upgrade it with a gps AURA locator.
Sorry, Cobra is not yet distributing the GPS plug-in separately.
I have a Cobra 6200 6 Band and I have had this detector for about six years and this is the best, I will never buy another type detector but Cobra.
I bought a Cobra XRS 9965, there is a card in the package that says I can upgrade to the Aura for $49.95. Do you have this item in stock or do I need to purchase it from Cobra? They are requesting a receipt for the orginal detector, I just bought it from Ebay, brand new. Will my receipt from Ebay be enough to send in?
Hi Jenn, if you received a card inside the box for an upgrade, that is an offer from the manufacturer and you will need to contact Cobra directly. As far is the receipt is concerned, whether or not Cobra will accept one from an eBay purchase will depend entirely on them. It doesn't hurt to ask.
