Laser Veil / Laser Shield Combo
This combo provides the ultimate in passive laser defense. It includes Laser Veil G4, a translucent stealth coating that can be applied to your license plate, and a Laser Shield license plate cover. Both of these products work by making your vehicle less reflective, thus reducing the range at which a police laser gun can get your speed.
This combination of products is a perfect marriage. Laser Veil should not be applied directly to a license plate - the manufacturer recommends it be applied to a plate cover over the plate. The Laser Shield does not protect the headlights, which is where officers are trained to aim if they cannot get a reading from the front plate.
Remember, a radar detector alone is NOT enough to protect you from police laser! Laser does not work the same as radar, and it is rare to get any advanced warning from a detector if an officer is targeting traffic with a laser gun. A passive solution, such as this Laser Veil / Laser Shield combo can buy you several seconds to react to your radar detector's warning, before the officer can get your speed.
