The Beltronics Professional Series RX45 radar detector is one of the easiest to install integrated radar detector system ever designed. The RX45 has three components: The antenna/receiver, the interface, and the display/controller. Simply connect the interface to a switched power supply and connect the antenna and display using standard RJ11 cables. Beltronics states that the system can be installed in less than one hour.
Besides being easy to install, the RX45 offers impressive performance. The RX45 detects all bands of radar, laser detection, and has very solid performance. The Beltronics RX45 features voice alerts, a Signal Strength Meter, AutoMute, and three sensitivity levels. The display can be mounted almost anywhere and is very easy to conceal. If you have been looking for an integrated radar detector to replace a traditional windshield device or you are looking for a quality system then the RX45 may be exactly what you are looking for.
One great feature is that the RX45 has an optional Laser Shifter Pack. The Laser Shifter Pack is a laser jamming system specifically made to plug directly into the RX45. You can install the Laser Shifter Pack at the same time, or later as an optional upgrade.

 | The Beltronics RX45 features a powerful display, which has 3 possible modes:

In the standard bar graph mode, the Beltronics RX45 will show one band that was detected and a bar graph representing the signal strength.

In ExpertMeter™ mode, the RX45 can identify band and relative signal strength of up to 8 radar signals at once.

In SpecDisplay™ mode, the detector will show the band and actual frequency being detected.

The Laser Shifter Pack is a laser jamming system specifically made to plug directly into the RX45. Since they use a modular design, you can install the Laser Shifter Pack at the same time, or later as an optional upgrade. The high performance laser shifters provide great active protection from all types of lasers.

With this InstallCard a professional Mobile Electronics installer will install your concealed Radar/Laser Detector into your vehicle. Installation includes powering the unit through the ignition key, mounting an external receiver in the front of the vehicle and a control module inside the cabin. Wires will be hidden to provide a "clean" installation.
This InstallCard is good for radar detectors with a front antenna only. Examples are the Whistler Pro 3450, Whistler Pro 3600, Whistler Cruisader, Adaptive TPX, Beltronics RX45, and Escort Qi45. Concealed radar detectors that include both front and rear antennas require the Deluxe Radar Detector InstallCard.
